As the craziness of the 2020 racing season begins to wind down, the team at the United States Pro Kart Series, presented by MG Tires and IAME USA East, has been diligently putting together their 2021 program. The 2020 schedule was originally intended to be a three-event series, starting in Florida in March, but we all know what happened in March, and ultimately sent people’s lives in all sorts of directions. Luckily, USPKS was able to put together a great season, despite all the challenges. Entry records were set once again, and no doubt 2020 will go in the books as one of the best USPKS seasons ever.

None of this would have been possible without the great support the many series sponsors, teams, and competitors. MG Tires and IAME USA East are the series sponsors, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the support we have received from these two industry titans. The three 2020 events were sponsored by AIMSports, DNJ Intermodal Trucking, and Nitro Kart. The 2020 Cookouts were presented by Allegheny Truck Body, Trinity Karting Group, Rolison Performance Group, and Orsolon Racing. Class sponsors for 2020 include Team Ferris Racing, Allison Racing Engines, Woltjer Racing Engines, Franklin Motorsports, Speed Concepts Racing, Timmy Tech, and Mike Doty Racing. Fast time awards were sponsored by Innovative Engine Works by FMS. Additional series sponsorship was provided by Xeramic, VP Fuels, B&B Electric, and Comet Kart Sales.

A huge THANK YOU also goes out to all of our competitors. You guys put on a great show at every event. And we sincerely hope you appreciate the time and effort the series puts in to have one of the best race staffs in the country. From our bar-setting Tech Team, to the second-to-none Track Officials, all the way to the knowledgeable and friendly faces at Registration. Our goals have always been for the racers to have a good time at every one of our events, and we want to keep it that way.

So where do we go from here? Well, when you can’t get enough of a good thing, you add more! The United States Pro Kart Series 2021 schedule will feature four full event weekends, starting in Ocala, FL on March 11-14, 2021. The folks at Ocala Gran Prix were originally scheduled to be our host for the postponed opening weekend in 2020, and it only seemed fair that we go back there to kick off the 2021 season.

For the second event, we head to the ever popular, New Castle Motorsports Park over the April 29 to May 2 weekend. NCMP hosted our single biggest USPKS event ever in 2020, and we are looking forward to another blowout weekend in 2021.

Round 3 takes us back to Road America and the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex. This venue was new to the program in 2020 and the competitors loved it. We are lucky enough to have the July 8-11 weekend, which is immediately after the NASCAR Cup race at Road America. The week prior to the Cup race will feature a Route 66 regional event, so clear your calendar for a couple weeks of great Wisconsin summer weather and racing.

2021 will close out on October 14-17 at a venue that is yet to be determined.

And a special Save the Date notice for July 29 – August 1st. A big announcement for this weekend will coming soon!

Mark your calendars today…
